Apostolic Perspectives: Synergistic Advancement

SynergyHello brethren. Welcome to a new venture and extension of our ministry. I hope that through this frequent time of teaching that we can continue to develop honest, caring, and purposeful relationships that will serve as a foundation for the advancement of God’s Kingdom in the earth.

As I travel and minister the Gospel in different countries of the world I find the Church at various levels of maturity. In many places it is still quite immature and struggling just to survive. In other places it is merely a religious institution void of life and offering its usual fare of predictable rules and regulations. Still, we are able to find segments of the Body of Christ advancing in the understanding of their identity and subsequently breaking through into increasing levels of victory and dominion as they establish the rule of God wherever they are.

“The kingdom of heaven is like leaven….” (Matthew 13:33)

My primary intention for this storehouse of instruction is to be a catalyst for transformation. Of course beginning with myself, then initially, in the lives of those in whom I am most closely connected with. Secondly, as these close relationships minister out of the internal changes within them to those they are called to we will begin to see local and regional transformations taking place. Ultimately, this will be translated into an expanding influence that has the potential to affect every sector of society, especially those areas that leverage the most power to shape the thinking of the people they serve.

Synergism is defined as, the cooperative action of discrete agencies such that the total effect is greater than the sum of the effects taken independently. This term aptly describes God’s “many-membered body” working together in unison to increase the escalating momentum of the kingdom of God on the earth. As each of us obeys the Holy Spirit individually, we will find our role to be instrumental in the overall orchestration of God’s will.

If the Gospel is not demonstrated, it will simply find a place among the heap of all the other ideologies that offer forms without power. There is no room for the preaching of an impotent message that feebly attempts to explain away and make excuses for a weak and ineffective church. We have entered the day of the “activation of the saints.” As the five-fold ascension graces are being recognized and received, they are imparting the necessary power to raise the Body Christ to new levels of maturity and function. The knowledge of the glory of the Lord will eventually cover the earth as the waters cover the sea!

Jesus set the bar for all ministry when he left the instruction to, “make disciples of all nations by teaching all things which He commanded.” This commission is still in force and will continue to be our standard.

This web site actually gives us the opportunity to create some of that synergy that you’re talking about. I have a vision of a huge, immensely anointed, global network of believers sharing prophecy, word of wisdom, word of knowledge, and spiritual encouragement.

It’s like this: I am a finger of God. I’m anointed to be a finger, and I’m a pretty good one. I go about pointing things out and scratching the itch whenever possible because that’s my calling as a finger. The problem is, without my brother the thumb, I’ll never be able to pick up the sword and fight. God desires for all of us to participate and synergize. Importantly, we all need one another in this thing….
