Every good soldier understands the chain of command.
The Holy Spirit is administrating the movement of God’s Kingdom all across the face of the earth today. It is a fact that we must know and trust. We also have to be faithful to do our part when it needs to be done.
Every great military campaign is executed through the coordination of many individuals and groups who have been trained to do their part with precision and excellence. The welfare of all the other groups and individuals can be compromised when one link is out of sync with the rest of the chain. The entire campaign can be jeopardized when we are not ready to do our part when the moment demands it.
The Body of Christ is a “many-membered body.” No part is identical and every part has a unique function to add to the whole. To insure corporate coordination, we must learn how to discern and obey the Holy Spirit individually, and the Holy Spirit speaking through delegated authorities.
“…and the instructions which you have heard from me…transmit and entrust to reliable and faithful men…”

Good soldiers don’t just understand the chain of command, they submit themselves to it regardless of opinion, convenience, or personal peril. They understand that the chain of command is empowered with authority based upon the Commander-in-Chief, in our case King Jesus.
Good soldiers adopt protocols to honor those above them in the chain of command regardless of personal feelings about the man.
