It’s hard to believe that the snowfall from the last 24 hours has melted. There are still little piles laying around here and there in the shade and corners, but the rest has gone. Again, that’s probably no big deal to most people, but we Floridians are nonetheless fascinated. We are convinced that God arranged it all for us.

Here are the two most powerful take-aways from today’s teaching:

“Experiences create cracks in our worldview that can cause change to begin to happen.”

“The Kingdom of God is the rule and reign of God where His will is done. As Gods’ Kingdom advances it drives out satan’s kingdom. Suffering and persecution are part of this conflict. Satan’s kingdom will be shaken to pieces and God’s Kingdom will remain eternal and unshakeable. We must minister in light of this promise amidst the reality of both suffering and the overcoming power of Christ.”

That’s cool. I kind of posted the same sort of word about suffering on the revolution brigade blog. Go check it out.
