Transformation does not come through teaching. It comes through pain, relational conflict, and struggle.

Religious activity is not spiritual growth. No amount of “doing” will heal us in an area of “being.”

Love is only produced through deep friendships.

What you can’t talk about will own you. Secrets keep us bound in fear and shame.

Spiritual growth is marked by an increasing awareness of our distance from God.

You will never find your value in how you are behaving (performance). Our value can only be found through our acceptance by God.

The major cause of depression in the Church is the loss of confidence in God to do what He said He would do.
