We just returned from a day at “Cataratas do Iguacu.” (You can do a search on Google Images and see many different photos that will give an idea of the immensity of the place.) It is the largest waterfall system in the world and a truly awe inspiring sight.

I spoke to someone last week who said they had a phenomenal spiritual experience here a few years back. Now I can understand how that would be easily possible.

On the way down to the falls Nette noticed Psalm 93:4 inscribed on a rock wall.“The Lord on high is mightier than the noise of many waters, yea, than the mighty waves of the sea.”

I had to go back and get a picture of it as a thorny, spiney plant had almost grown over and obscured it. Seeing it brought back to remembrance Matthew 13:22:

“He also that received seed among the thorns is he that hears the word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becomes unfruitful.”
