Someone sent me a great quote this week that directly relates to the last post:
“Adversity is to the spirit and soul what going to the gym is to the body.”
“For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth being compared with the glory that is about to be revealed to us […]

Pressing Through The Threshold
February 23rd, 2010 · No Comments · Cross Training, Spiritual Growth and Development
I have been working out in the gym for over a month now. I began my training with very simple exercises at low amounts of weight. I immediately discovered what I was capable of (without hurting myself) and stayed within the parameters that were determined by my current level of strength.

From Fig Leaves to Glory
December 23rd, 2009 · No Comments · Kingdom Culture, Spiritual Growth and Development

“Root” quotes
December 10th, 2009 · No Comments · Spiritual Growth and Development
Here are a few quotes I received in response to the article I posted yesterday:
“There are a thousand hacking at the branches of evil to one who is striking at the root.” (Henry David Thoreau)
“Kind hearts are the gardens, kind thoughts are the roots, kind words are the flowers, kind deeds are the fruits. Take […]

Love and The Fullness of God
August 17th, 2009 · No Comments · Kingdom Culture, Spiritual Growth and Development
“For in Him the whole fullness of Deity continues to dwell in bodily form [giving complete expression to the divine nature].” (Colossians 2:9)
The fullness of God that was in Jesus (in bodily form) has been dispersed into His Body, and is now being manifest through His Church!
“And He has put all things under His feet […]
